University of Fisheries launches online application process for PG admissions

NAGAPATTINAM:

The Dr. J. Jayalalithaa University of Fisheries, Tamil Nadu launched the online application process for admission to the masters program for the 2022-23 session on Wednesday.

Vice Chancellor G. Sugumar released the PG Prospectus and launched the online portal for MFSc student admission. (13 disciplines), M. Tech. (three disciplines), MBA (Fisheries Business Management) and PG Diploma (two disciplines). Fifty-nine places in MFSc., 13 places in M.Tech., 20 places in MBA (FEM) and 20 places in PG degree programs will be filled. Also, six places for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) students and two places for foreign nationals in MFSc. have been booked, according to a university press release.

The prospectus and applications can be downloaded from the University website: www.tnjfu.ac.in. The deadline for submitting online applications is December 4, 2022. Students are required to submit their completed application only online, the press release states.

Entrance exams and in-person counseling will take place at the Institute of Graduate Fisheries Studies, Vaniyanchavadi, Chennai on 20 and 21 December respectively.
