HP TET Nov 2021: HP Board of School Education has launched the online application process for the recruitment of vacancies for the HP Teacher Eligibility Test (TGT (Arts / Medical / Non Medical) / Shastri / LT / JBT / Punjabi / Urdu) for November 2021 Interested applicants can submit their application through the online mode at hpbose.org. The deadline for submitting online applications is October 13, 2021. The link to online applications can be accessed by scrolling down.

HP TET November 2021 will be conducted for the following categories of teachers: –

HP TET eligibility criteria

TGT (Arts) – BA / B.Com. with at least 50% of grades and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR BA / B.Com. with at least 45% of marks (only for those who took a B.Ed. until 30.08.2009) and 50% of marks (for those who took a B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Standards of recognition and
Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of baccalaureate in elementary education (B.El.Ed.) OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of BAEd. OR BA / B.Com. with at least 50% of grades and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (special education).

TGT (non-medical) – B.Sc. (NM) with at least 50% of marks and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% of marks (only for those who have passed the B.Ed. until 30.08.2009) and 50% of marks (for those who took a B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year of license in education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE regulations ( recognition standards and procedures) issued from time to time in this regard. OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of baccalaureate in elementary education (B.El.Ed.) OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of B.Sc. (NM) Ed. OR B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% of marks and one year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (special education).

TGT (Medical) – B.Sc. (Medicine) with at least 50% of marks and one year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR B.Sc. (Medicine) with at least 45% of marks (only for those who have passed a B .Ed. Until 30.08.2009) and 50% of marks (for those who obtained a B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year of license in education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE regulations (standards and recognition procedures) issued from time to time in this regard. OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of baccalaureate in elementary education (B.El.Ed.) Medical) Ed. OR B.Sc (Medicine) with at least 50% of marks and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education.

Shastri – Shastri with at least 50% marks from an HP government recognized institution / university.

Language teacher –BA with Hindi as elective subject and 2 years elementary education diploma (by
whatever the known name OR BA with at least 50% of grades with Hindi as the subject of choice and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR BA with at least 45% of grades with Hindi as optional subject and 1 year of license in
Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Standards and Procedures) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR BA with at least 50% of marks with Hindi as the subject of your choice and 1 year of bachelor’s degree in
Education (B.Ed.) Special education OR Prabhakar (with distinction in Hindi) with 50% of marks followed by a BA exam (English and one additional subject) with 50% of marks from a recognized university and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR MA (Hindi) with at least 50% of the marks from a recognized university and 1 year of bachelor’s degree in
Education (B.Ed.)

Junior Basic Training (JBT) – 10 + 2 with 50% marks from a recognized board / university and must have two years
JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the central state government. OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and two years of diploma in elementary education (whatever the known name).
OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of marks and two years of primary education diploma (whatever the known name), in accordance with the NCTE regulation (standards and recognition procedure), 2002.
OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and 4 years of baccalaureate in elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR Secondary secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and a 2-year diploma in
Elementary Education (Special Education) OR Two-year Diploma and Diploma in Elementary Education (whatever known name).

Punjabi language teacher – BA with Punjabi as a subject of choice and 2 years of diploma in elementary education (by
whatever the known name) OR BA with at least 50% of marks with Punjabi as the subject of your choice and 1 year of bachelor’s degree in
Education (B.Ed.) OR BA with at least 45% of marks with Punjabi as the subject of your choice and 1 year of bachelor’s degree in
Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Standards and Procedures) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR BA with at least 50% of marks with Punjabi as the subject of your choice and 1 year of bachelor’s degree in
Education (B.Ed.) Special education OR Giani with 50% of marks followed by a BA exam (English and one additional subject) with 50% of marks from a recognized university and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) OR MA (Punjabi) with at least 50% of grades from a recognized university and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with Punjabi teaching (State Teacher EligibilityTest)

Urdu language teacher – BA with Urdu as elective subject and 2 years of elementary education diploma (whatever known name) OR BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as elective subject and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) OR BA with at least 45% of grades with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE regulations (recognition standards and procedures) published from time to time at this respect. OR BA with at least 50% of marks with Urdu as the subject of your choice and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education. OR BT with 50% of marks followed by a BA exam (English and one additional subject with 50% of marks from a recognized university and 1 year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR MA (Urdu) with au minus 50% university grades and 1 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) AND Pass the Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by HPBoard of School Education Dharamshala.

HPTET age limit:

There is no age limit to apply for the TET. Age criteria should be taken into account by the appointing authority at the time of appointment in accordance with R&P rules.

HP TET 2021 Exam Template

Each paper will be kept offline in pen and paper mode.

-The questions for each article will be asked in objective multiple choice format (MCQ).

-The duration of each article will be 2.30 hours.

-All papers will be 150 marks.

-There will be no negative mark on the exam. Candidates can answer as many questions as possible within the allotted time.

How to apply for HP TET 2021?

Eligible and interested applicants can apply online on the official HPBPS website from October 29 to October 13, 2021. Applicants will not be able to modify / edit the application form once the exam fee has been submitted. Subsequently, corrections of mentions may be made online from October 19, 2021 to October 21, 2021. No other request for modification of mentions will under any circumstances be taken into account.

HP TET exam fees:

  1. 800 / – for General and its Sub-Categories (except PHH)
  2. 500 / – for categories OBC / ST / SC / PHH.
